Abstract: |
The five archaeological trenches found few deposits of archaeological interest. Of the limited features identified including the cobbled yard surface in trench 4, none could be dated any earlier than the late 19th century. The last remains of the clay barn and farm house of likely 17th century date which once formed the core of middle farm were removed during the clear up operation relating to the foot and mouth epidemic of 2001. |
