Abstract: |
A gazetteer reporting on Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum is a visitor attraction covering approximately 26 acres (10.52 ha.), incorporating both the former Wheal Martyn clay works and the Gomm clay works. A number of the structures are included within two distinct Scheduled areas on the site relating to the Gomm works and Wheal Martyn works, both numbered 1066. These are listed under the number 18356 in Cornwall Council Historic Environment Record (HER). The site is centred at NGR SX 004 555. |
