Abstract: |
A single trench evaluation was carried out during the ground works for a new school hall at Rougham CEVCP School. 2 post-medieval/modern pits and a small modern gully were encountered, as well as the footing of a late post-medieval wall built at the same time as the school and demolished in the 1960's. No trace of a pre-medieval settlement was found and no human skeletal remains were located. No further work is recommended as being necessary for this development. |
