Abstract:
Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Mr. Robert Camping through his agents Simon Morray Jones Architects, to undertake an archaeological evaluation in advance of proposed development on land at The Manor House, Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire. Subsequent to completion of an Archaeological Desk-based Assessment (WA Heritage, 2008) and geophysical survey (WA 2008), an archaeological evaluation was undertaken in order to further inform the nature of the archaeological survival on the Site.
