The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Scottish and Southern Electricity are dismantling an overhead electricity line (OHL) in Dunloskin Wood, Dunoon. The route of the OHL passes close to two Scheduled Monuments; the Ardnadam Chapel and Burial Ground (SM No. 3235) and the Dunloskin Wood Platforms (SM No. 3894). There are also a number of undesignated sites listed by the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS) and the West of Scotland Archaeology Service (WoSAS) Sites and Monuments Register (SMR) in close proximity to the OHL.. All sites within the OHL corridor were surveyed and a visible barrier put in place. Poles were felled to avoid damage to these sites and were removed from the corridor by helicopter to avoid the use of vehicles.
