Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out during the excavation of foundations for a new dwelling to the rear of 'Sunnyside', Rose Dene, Linton-on-Ouse. Subsoil was encountered at a depth of c.0.80m below ground level, overlain by an homogenous overburden and modern topsoil. A single field drain was noted. No features of archaeological significance were encountered.
