Abstract: |
Evaluation of a 31 ha site pouced finds and features from teh Bronze Age and Roman periods, though neither is particularly strongly represented, and many features could not be dated. The Bronze Ae features consisted mainly of pits, and some poorly dated field boundaries might also be prehistoric. Roman features formed two clusters, of which one is likely to represent the northern edge of a small settlement and the other seems to consists only of field boundaries. A very small amount of medieval pottery was also recovered and some ditches were clearly post-medieval. |
