Abstract:		 Following an earlier evaluation excavation an archaeological watching brief was carried out on two areas of ground reduction at 2, Croft Road, Brighton, East Sussex. No archaeological features were noted, and no archaeological artefacts were recovered. This was most likely due to the previous construction of a brick built garage in the south western corner of the site, and earlier landscaping at the front of the house.
