Abstract: |
This report documents the results of an archaeological evaluation at the former John Faulkner infant school, Sawston, Cambridgeshire. Four 10m long trenches were machine excavated, of which one; trench 4 contained a NW-SE aligned ditch and two pits, one containing a single cattle burial. Pottery and stratigraphic evidence indicates the features are late Medieval/transitional period in date. |
