Abstract: |
The site had unknown archaeological potential. It is located on the southern edge of Saxilby village, close to the Fossdyke Navigation Canal, which has Roman origins and has been utilised as a waterway ever since. It is also lies within the medieval settlement of Saxilby. All trenches were found to be archaeologically negative. |
