Abstract: |
Wessex Archaeology carried out a watching brief during groundworks associated with the construction of a new grain store. The site lies within an area of extensive Bronze Age, Iron Age and Romano-British field systems. A previously unknown D-shaped enclosure, dated by pottery to the Iron Age, a seies of quarry pits and a tree throw containing an assemblage of worked flint of probable Neolithic date were recorded. |
