Abstract:		 Wardell Armstrong Archaeology (WAA) was commissioned by the client Electricity Northwest to undertake an archaeological watching brief at Bleatarn, Irthington, Cumbria (NGR: NY 46382 61022). The watching brief was required as a fulfilment of Scheduled Monument Consent. No archaeological remains were observed; no archaeological finds were recovered.
