An archaeological excavation was undertaken on a small plot of unconsecrated land within the churchyard. Late Iron Age and Saxon pottery was recovered. The remains of a 14th century timber framed structure, a 16th to 18th century flint building and a 18th to 19th century brick built property were identified. [Au(abr)]
