Abstract:
Archaeological evaluation and further excavation of the site uncovered part of the former Langthorne Brickworks, in operation from 1883 to 1911. Samples of brick and an assortment of buildings were identified, as well as traces of a narrow gauge railway. Pits and drainage gullies were found throughout the site. [Au(adp)]
