Abstract:		 Eleven trenches were excavated in advance of the construction of a solar farm at Lower Farm, Walberton. These were located to target geophysical anomalies and also a crop mark identified in aerial photographs. Archaeological remains were recorded in five trenches. These comprised ditches relating to domestic activity on the site dating to the Iron Age and also a pit datable to the Romano-British period.
