Abstract: |
Wessex Archaeology has been commissioned by CgMs Consulting Ltd to carry out a programme of evaluation trenching on one parcel of land south of Collin Lane, Willersey, Gloucestershire in advance of a proposed residential development. The evaluation comprised the excavation of twelve 30m long trenches in order to determine the archaeological potential of the Site and characterise any remains that may survive prior to redevelopment. Trenches 2 and 3 contained a single ephemeral gully which may be related to the Medieval/Post-medieval use of the land for farmland. |
