Abstract: |
A trench measuring 13m long by 9.40m wide and 3.50m deep, forming the footprint of the proposed new building was monitored, in order to determine the presence or absence of archaeological remains. Natural sandy gravel was recorded at a height of 48.04m OD, immediately below the modern concrete slab level. No archaeological deposits were found to survive within the area of the trench. |
