Abstract: |
The evaluation identified the presence of natural sand and gravel overlain by subsoil and garden soil in a garden extension to the south of the proposed development. This showed that the borehole taken immediately to the north of the auger holes lay within a large cut feature, almost 4m deep. No potential archaeology survives because the natural ground has been removed by a quarry pit. [Au(abr)] |
