Abstract:
Evaluation trenches were excavated at the site. The earliest features were pits and ditches that contained Neolithic pottery and worked flint. A Bronze Age burnt flint mound with associated ditches was identified, along with Iron Age pits, ditches and post holes. A Roman aisled structure and a Mid-Saxon sunken building were also encountered. [Au(adp)]
