Abstract: |
Two trenches were excavated as part of an evaluation of an area proposed for development. The work revealed a number of linear features, those in Trench 2 perhaps of Roman origin and those in Trench 1 being of probable medieval date. The archaeological features appeared to be of agricultural origin, with ridge and furrow echoing a possible earlier Roman use of the area. [Au(abr)] |
