Abstract: |
On March 15th, 2017, an archaeological watching brief took place at Aden Country Park Camping and Caravan site near Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire. The work took place in response to the installation of several 'glamping pods' or fixed camping shelters, and primarily involved the excavation of a 165m long cable trench for electrical services. No archaeological finds or features were noted during the project, though several suspected Bronze Age platforms are located some 35m NW of the cable route. |
