Abstract: |
A single zig-zag ditch was found during hte watchingbrief. This was most likely constructed during the Second World War as part of the defences of RAF Hartford Bridge. Examination of a mound thought to be a possible Bronze Age barrow or 18th-cenury military field kitchen showed it to be a modern dump of no archaeological significance. |
