Abstract: |
A landscape survey was undertaken across the site following the controlled burn of Molinia grass. The aim of the survey was to record any features revealed following the burn, as a supplement to the Eastern Moors Estate Historic Landscape Survey (2010-2011). The only new feature identified was a small sub-oval quarry hollow, of local archaeological significance. Visibility was improved following the burn of Molinia grass, though the tussocks remained and obscured the ground surface. |
