Abstract: |
From October 2005 to Jan 2006 Oxford archaeology undertook an evaluation at land north of Innsworth on behalf of CgMs consulting. A total of 188 trenches were excavated. Three areas of activity were indetified; a double-ditched Iron age /early Roman enclosure, a late Iron /age / Early Roman farmstead and later Roman trackway and field syatem and medieval plough furrows. |
