Abstract: |
Between August and September 2012 Oxford Archaeology conducted a watching brief during the excavation of underpinning pits and new foundations for a new senior library at St Mary's School, South Ascot, Berkshire (centred NGR: SU 9264 6690). The watching brief observed post-medieval worked soils and landscaping directly overlying the underlying natural geology. No significant archaeology was encountered. |
