Abstract:		 This Archaeological Assessment was undertaken by Border Archaeology, in advance of Bristol Water engineering works, and was based on readily available sources of archaeological and historical information, concerning the route of a proposed mains renewal scheme extending through the village of Wookey, in close proximity to the site of the medieval palace belonging to the Bishops of Bath and Wells (now occupied by Court Farm).
