Monks Eleigh Playing Field, Church Hill (MKE 035, TL 9652 4788) evaluation trenching for a planned new village hall with associated car parking did not reveal any archaeological features save two field drains of 19th early 20th century date with the few stray finds from the upcast spoil ranging in date from the Roman period to the early 20th century.
