Abstract: |
Statement of Significance: The meeting house has high significance as a good example of a meeting house dating from the late seventeenth century. Its large size reflects the building's use for regional meetings in the eighteenth century. It has an attractive setting within a large burial ground in the historic core of Lancaster and the exterior preserves its historic character and appearance. There are some original interior fittings and features, although the interior has been altered. |
