Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	An archaeological evaluation was carried out in September in advance of the construction of an agricultural reservoir on a 2.2ha site on land north of Redgate House, Wherstead, Suffolk. The evaluation followed a brief from Suffolk County Council Archaeological Service (SSSCAS) which required a 5% evaluation. This was achieved by cutting 21 trial trenches (combined length 611m).
