Abstract: |
Little Wenham Hall (ESF 23415, TM 0808 3908) monitoring of the excavation of 12 small tree planting pits to the east of Wenham Castle confirmed that only the 400mm deep topsoil was disturbed. No archaeological features were exposed and the only finds in the upcast spoil were small fragments of Post medieval brick and tile. |
