Abstract: |
Ground reduction and excavation of two trenches for a new substation was monitored in June 2012 on semi- derelict land adjacent to the existing substation. Undisturbed natural was not observed, however, there were colluvial deposits probably associated with infilling of the upper parts of the Chipstead valley. No archaeological deposits were recorded. |
