Abstract:		 In August 2016 a trial trench evaluation was undertaken on a piece of land at the rear of the Three Mariners Pub, 193 High Road, Trimley St Mary, Suffolk prior to the construction of six dwellings. A single trench was excavated within the footprint of the proposed development. The evaluation trench revealed a ditch and a pit/ditch, both dating to the post-medieval period.
