Abstract:		 An archaeological Strip and Record operation was undertaken in advance of mineral extraction at the Darrington Quarry Northern Extension between 2003 and 2007. No evidence was found of the anticipated former boundaries or the post-medieval farmhouse that had occupied the western edge of the site. However, a post-medieval well was identified near the southern boundary of the site. No other archaeological features or deposits were identified.
