Abstract: |
Archaeological evaluation prior to proposed development identified a possible quarry pit, which dated to the Roman period or later, however, this feature possibly cut through the subsoil deposits. No other features were present within the evaluated areas. A small finds assemblage comprised a crumb of possible Prehistoric pottery, two probable struck flints, CBM fragments, including a fragment of tegula and a small number of metal finds, including an undated lead loom weight, as well as some metal clothes buttons. |
