Abstract:		 Melton, land to the rear of 23-37 Hall Farm Road (MTN 079, TM 2782 5062) evaluation trenching for an eight dwelling residential development in an area with a relatively high local water table revealed one small pit of uncertain date and a few field drains; very few stray finds were seen in the upcast spoil and all were of Post medieval date.
