Abstract:		 Northamptonshire Archaeology was commissioned by Bloor Homes and Stamford Homes to carry out an archaeological geophysical survey on 10.3ha of land at the former Cranfield University campus, Silsoe, Bedfordshire. The survey has identified medieval or post-medieval ridge and furrow cultivation patterns. No further archaeological features were found, however, many magnetic anomalies were revealed representing various features such as land drains, ferrous pipelines, ferrous or ceramic debris in the soil, larger ferrous objects and magnetic disturbance caused by standing buildings, fences and other modern installations
