Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was conducted by Independent Archaeology Consultants on land off Barway Road, Barway, Cambridgeshire. Two evaluation trenches were opened up across the proposed development area (later joined into one T-shaped trench) and indicated that a backfilled medieval waterhole was present in the future development area. Pottery, bones and environmental samples indicated activity in the area from the 13th to the 16th century.
