Abstract: |
Geophysical survey identified several magnetic anomalies that may represent buried cut features of archaeological origin. These were clearest in Area 4 with a range of linear and curvilinear anomalies possibly indicating the presence of two phases of occupation: a field system and group of ring ditches. The eastern half of the site is also noted for the presence of an array of positive anomalies which indicate that the area was farmed using the ridge-and-furrow method although the earthworks associated with this appear to have been since levelled. |
