Abstract: |
Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by CgMs Consulting Ltd to undertake an archaeological investigation at The Dormers, Cirencester Road, Tetbury, Gloucestershire The site is situated on the outskirts of the Medieval core of Tetbury. A number of Mesolithic, Iron Age and Romano-British findspots have been recorded within and around the town and recent investigations on the north side of Tetbury have revealed previously unknown prehistoric and Romano-British remains. Nine trial trenches were excavated but no archaeological deposits, features or finds were identified. |
