Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometer survey was undertaken at Northway Lane, Tewksbury in Gloucestershire covering 3.5ha. Few anomalies bearing archaeological significance were discovered, these were thought to have been pit-like features or possibly just disturbed ground. Some geological responses were discovered in the data which may be related to former stream channels. Although a Desk Based Assessment was carried out which suggested a high chance of a former mill being present within the site no anomalies directly associated with these former structures were discovered. |
