Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in September 2016 on land south of the A379, Newcourt, Exeter. A total of two trenches were excavated. The evaluation recorded a pair of parallel ditches, one of which contained modern artefactual material. These ditches had been detected by a previous geophysical survey and are the continuation of an extant field boundary visible to the immediate south of the site. |
