Abstract: |
Woodbridge, land at 34 Grundisburgh Road (WBG 123, TM 2608 4936) evaluation trenching for a small residential development close to the recorded find spot of a Coptic ceramic flask and two Roman period pottery lamps in addition to an unusual group of later Roman/early Saxon period pottery sherds did not reveal any archaeological features or finds. It is therefore suggested that these earlier finds are antiquarian/tourist losses imported to the area in the recent. |
