Abstract: |
Observation and recording of 50 hand-dug post-pits for a new fenced compound NW of Admiralty Lookout, Dover Castle was undertaken. Most of the deposits exposed represented recent make-up and levelling deposits. A few fragments of brick walling related to the foundations of the demolished Hospital Barracks (19th-early 20th century) that formerly stood in this area. |
