Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 10 hectares of arable farmland. Circular features of archaeological origin have been identified and may be related to former ring ditches. Former field boundaries and ridge and furrow indicate an agricultural past. Two possible former pits and a small positive anomaly may be of archaeological or natural origin. The remaining features are modern in origin and include evidence for modern agriculture, land drains, disturbance from nearby fences and magnetic spikes that are likely to be modern rubbish. |
