Abstract: |
The excavation revealed a modest amount of archaeology. A group of undated pits may all be iron Age, as they appear related to one which contained human remains, radiocarbon dated to the 4th or 3rd century BC. A ditch is probably also contemporary. The main results however are medieval with a small square enclosure set within a larger, partly open, enclosure or 13th century date. |
