Abstract:		 Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Amey PLC to undertake a written scheme of investigation for a watching brief of land at and adjacent to Calton Road and Seymour Road, Gloucester. The proposals include the replacement of water mains, approximately 995m in length at Calton Road and 2.25km at Seymour Road. Groundwork will involve the excavation of access holes for pipe bursting and excavation of trial holes.
