Abstract:		 Archaeology South-East (ASE) was commissioned by Wiston Estate to undertake a programme of archaeological monitoring within the grounds of the estate, to the northwest of Steyning (NGR TQ 15506 12428) during excavations associated with the installation of new hardcore roads. The watching brief took place from 19th to 23rd April 2010. The monitored excavations revealed two undated linear features which have been preserved in situ beneath the new road.
