Abstract:		 Headland Archaeology undertook a trial trench evaluation on land in the vicinity of Longleaze Farm, Swindon. Only two potential archaeological features, both pits, were identified across the site while many of the geophysical anomalies from the survey were found to be either stone throws or large stones still in situ. The absence of much archaeology suggests that the area has been predominantly farmland for an extended period of time.
