Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 20 hectares of arable land. The survey has identified a number of anomalies related to the Iron Age/Romano-British crop mark complex seen in the desk based assessment, as well as a former field boundary or footpath. Two possible archaeological anomalies have also been identified; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of modern or natural origin. The modern anomalies relate to agricultural activity, ferrous objects and fencing. |
