Abstract: |
Archaeology South-East was commissioned by CgMs Consulting to undertake an archaeological evaluation at GlaxoSmithKline, Dartford, Kent, before the construction of a link road between Central Road and Bob Dunn Way. The natural gravels were encountered in 6 of the 7 trenches. There was a large amount of modern debris over the entire site, particularly to the north of the site, where there was in excess of 2.3 metres of made ground. Natural water channels were found in trench 5. Nothing of any archaeological significance was identified in any of the trenches. |
